To All Nunez Community College Students:

We will be going live with our new online registration program, Log-on Louisiana (LoLA) for the Fall 2012 Semester.

LoLA will provide our students the ability to not only register their classes, pay their college fee bills, and check the status of their financial aid online. But also give them access to verify their schedule, review their grades, and assess their academic history from any place with an internet connection.

LoLA will go live for all Nunez Students on July 23rd for our Early Fall Registration.

This page is designed to help all New and Returning Nunez Students have a better understanding of the registration procedures involved with this new online system.

Applying to the College:

All new students to the college must start with the application process first. Important Note: The following dates correspond to the Semester you are applying to:

Spring 2013 Semester
(January 2013 - May 2013)

Summer 2013 Semester
(June 2013 - August 2013)

Fall 2013 Semester
(August 2013 - December 2013)

Click Here to start the application process.

During this process you will be asked to provide documentation such as immunization records, high school transcripts and transfer transcripts. These documents are required before scheduling classes.

Admissions and Registration Process using LoLA:

Click Here for the individual steps a student should take to register for classes.

The first page of this document is a simplified step-by-step flow chart of all of the procedures; the second and third pages go into each individual step in more intricate detail. (Important Note: Spring and/or Summer 2012 Students can begin with Step 4. All others, including returning Nunez Students from previous semesters, must start at Step 1.)

Registering in LoLA:

Click Here for a step-by-step instructions on registering within LoLA itself.

This includes: How/When Students will receive their LoLA Login Credentials, Format of LoLA Usernames and Passwords, Registering for Classes, and Viewing Schedule & Fee Assessments. (Important Note: Calls regarding trouble logging into LoLA should be directed to the LoLA Help Desk at 855-227-8102 or support@lctcs.edu.)

Payment in LoLA:

All payments are due at time of registration. You may click “payment options” at the bottom of your bill (Student Account Summary on LoLA) and either pay your bill in full or set up the payment plan online. We also accept cash, check or money order payments in the Bursar’s Office, first floor library.

Nunez Student Email Addresses:

Due to certain policies involved with the implementation of LoLA, all Nunez Students will be given a Nunez Student Email Address, where all official email correspondence from the college will be sent.

For instructions on how to access this email address please Click Here.

The Nunez Student Email email account for All Spring and Summer 2012 Students should already be pre-loaded into LoLA for each of these students as their primary email address.  However it is the responsibility of All Spring and Summer 2012 Students to verify this information within their LoLA account to ensure timely delivery of all notifications regarding Billing, Financial Aid, and Registration..

All New Students for the Fall 2012 Semester and beyond must set these email addresses into LoLA as their primary email address themselves to ensure timely delivery of all notifications regarding Billing, Financial Aid, and Registration.

Important Note: You will never be asked by a Nunez Employee in an email to provide either your LoLA or your Nunez Student Email login credentials. Nor will you receive any emails from a Nunez Employee stating that your account has reached its quota limit or will be deleted. If you are to receive any emails like this, please disregard these as SPAM/Phishing attacks.
