Founder of featured in Entrepreneurship Workshop at Nunez. - Wednesday, February 12, 2014

The Entrepreneurship Center at Nunez Community College is hosting "Life in a Start Up,” featuring guest speaker, Todd McDonald, founder and president of, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. is an employment website that connects employers and workers. In his workshop, McDonald, a Morehouse College alum and franchise owner of Steak Escape, will share his experience about how to successfully develop a concept, raise seed capital, and register trademarks.

This is the Entrepreneurship Center’s most recent in a series designed for small- and future- business owners. Past workshops have covered business-specific topics including incubation, social media, marketing, financing, and management. "Life in a Startup” is free and open to the public, and those interested in attending can R.S.V.P. at 504-278-6295.

Upcoming workshops will feature musician and copyright expert, Jenni Davis, and renowned restaurateur, Dickie Brennan.
