Medical Coding and Billing

Medical Billing and Coding Professionals are in demand in hospitals, clinics, physician's offices, and insurance agencies. Some work online, utilizing alphanumeric codes and manipulating data for administrative and clerical aspects of the medical field.

  • Certificate of Applied Science (CAS): Medical Billing and Coding
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS): Business Technology, Medical Office Management Concentration 

Graduates of our Certificate of Applied Science in Medical Billing and Coding are proficient in medical terminology, coding, billing and legal aspects of the medical industry.

Billing Clerks earn an average of $25,768 to $37,598 per year, while Coders typically earn between $33,514 and $57,580 per year.

All courses can be applied toward the Associate of Applied Science in Business Technology, Medical Office Management concentration. Medical Office Managers typically earn between $41,739 - $74,123, annually.
