MY MATH LAB INSTRUCTIONS
How to register for
MyMathLab for the first time:

Go to
www.coursecompass.com and click on "student" (under
the word "register")

On the Course ID page, enter the course id provided
by your instructor (this is different from the access code) and click on “Create” under
“Create a Pearson Account”

Complete the Account Information Page (school zip code is
70043) Make sure that you are spelling your information correctly when you fill out this form,
or you may have trouble trying to log in later. Write your username and password in a safe place
you will remember.

Click on “Create Account”

If you have an access code:
Click “Access Code” and enter your six-word access code in the boxes. This is the code that is found under the
yellow tear- flap in your MyMathLab student kit, or inside cover of a new textbook.
If you do not have an access code yet and would like a 17 day free trial:
Scroll down and click on the sentence in blue that says for you to click on for a 17 day free trial. This lasts 17
calendar days from date of activation.

Click “Finish” to complete your registration.

Click “Go to Your Course” to access your online course.
If you already have an active
MyMathLab account:

Go to
www.coursecompass.com and click on “sign in” under “sign in”

Enter your username and password and click on “sign in”

Click on “Enroll in a Course”

Enter course id provided by your instructor (this is different
from the access code) and click “Continue”

Click “Enter Course Now” to start using the new course.
You may need to purchase a new code if:

Your account was created more than a calendar year ago.

You have a used book and the previous owner already
validated the code in it. (Always double check to see if it is valid, though, just in case if it was not validated yet.)
To Access Online Homework:

Sign in to
MyMathLab
-
Click on your course
-
Click on the Homework tab
-
Click on an assignment
If you have tests or Quizzes on
MyMathLab, consult your instructor for further directions.
