Nunez Community College launches new website in time for the Spring 2014 Semester - Tuesday, January 07, 2014

Nunez Community College launched a redesigned website, found at www.nunez.edu.

Under the auspices of the Office of Institutional Advancement, planning for the improved platform began in the fall of 2012 and included insights from the Student Government Association, faculty, and staff. College staff supplied content and collaborated with Bizzuka of Lafayette, Louisiana, for the site’s graphic design and programming, to ensure the new site would best represent the College and provide all users with an optimal interactive and functional experience.

The redesigned www.nunez.edu is responsive to all devices and features a new home page and several interactive tools to help users connect with the College, including:

  • An online admissions application;
  • Quick Links to important aspects of college and student life, including admission, tuition and fees, bookstore information, email, and Blackboard;
  • a Site Search bar to expedite searches of any college information;
  • Social media icons for express connections to the College’s Blackboard, Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube channel; and
  • a Recent News feature that directly connects our community and students with all the latest and upcoming college news and events.
Students entering and returning to Nunez in the spring 2014 semester will find information on registration, which runs January 14thto 22nd. Those in need of more information may contact advisinghelp@nunez.edu, or Student Affairs at 504-278-6467.
