ACCREDITATION

Nunez Community College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees, certificates, and diplomas. APPLICATION FEE

All applicants, including audit status students, enrolled for day and night credit classes are assessed a non-refundable $20 application fee.

AUDIT FEE AND TUITION

Students taking courses under audit status are assessed the regular tuition and fees for the audited courses.

DEFERMENT PLAN FEE

A non-refundable $30.00 processing fee will be assessed to students who apply for the tuition deferment plan

LABORATORY FEES

There are some areas of instruction within the College that require extra fees such as laboratory courses. These fees range from $10 to $500.

All online courses require additional fees

LATE REGISTRATION FEE

A student who registers after the close of the official Registration period is charged a Late Registration Fee of $10.

RETURNED CHECKS/DENIED CREDIT CARDS

There will be a $25 charge for all checks/charges returned/denied for any reason by financial institutions.

TECHNOLOGY FEES

As per House Bill No. 2339 (Regular Session 1997) and with the approval of the SGA Governing Board, the College will assess each student a $5 per credit hour Technology Fee up to a maximum of $60 per semester.

TRANSCRIPT FEES

Transcripts will require a $5 fee to be paid at the time of the request. All requests must be in writing.

TUITION

All tuition and fees must be paid at the time of registration, except when a student applies and qualifies for the deferment plan. A student is considered officially registered once fees are paid and all required admission requirements have been met.  Nunez Community College's tuition and fees are among the most affordable in the state.

REFUND OF TUITION FEES

Refund of tuition for the Fall and Spring semesters based upon reductions in credit hours or official withdrawal from the College is made according to the schedule listed in the Academic Calendar and the semester Class Schedule.

Refunds resulting from a reduction in credit hours or withdrawal from college will be processed provided the student completes the drop/withdrawal process prior to the posted deadline. Non- attendance does not constitute withdrawal. Students must apply to the Bursar's Office for the appropriate refund. Students who wish to appeal the refund they receive (or lack thereof) must complete a Tuition Appeal in the Student Affairs Office on the second floor of the AST Building
