Tropical Storm Francine is currently moving toward the Louisiana coast and is expected to strengthen, bringing heavy rainfall prior to making landfall Wednesday.

Due to the possibility of severe weather, Nunez will switch to virtual operations beginning at 2pm on Tuesday, Sept. 10, and the college will close on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and Thursday, Sept. 12.
