Nunez Nurses Lend Helping Hand

Nunez Community College had a great group of nurses and nursing students on hand to give flu shots, check cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels during the USPS Louisiana District Office's 2018 Fall Health Fair at the Loyola Avenue location.  

Shirley Millbern, Nursing Instructor, said, "We have participated in the USPS Health Fair many times. The event  gives the students an experience with clients outside the normal hospital clinical. It teaches them how to interact with clients who are not acutely or chronically ill and teaches them people skills."
