Students looking to pick up some college credits over the holidays have multiple online options thanks to Nunez Community College’s Winter Intersession.
The abbreviated winter period runs Dec. 14-Jan. 8 and currently offers 11 fully web-based courses. Additional courses will likely be added between now and the Dec. 14 start date.
The course list can be viewed by visiting Nunez.edu, selecting the Future Students tab and clicking on Course Schedule from the dropdown menu. From there, select 2020-21 Winter Intersession from the semester list and click Search.
Continuing Nunez students can register for Winter Intersession classes in LoLa. New or returning students should visit Nunez.edu, select the Future Students tab and click on Apply to Nunez! Assistance is also available by calling 504-278-6467.
The current course list for Winter Intersession 2020 includes multiple options in biology, business, history, math, philosophy, sociology and public speaking.
Registration for Nunez’s Spring 2021 semester will also be available starting Oct. 26.
