Nunez Community College’s Fast Lane 2 Mini-Mester will begin March 22. Registration for the intensive, eight-week term is open now with more than 60 classes to choose from at Nunez.edu/schedule.
“Fast Lane courses are complete classes offered in half the usual time,” said Tonia Loria, Nunez Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. “Our condensed sessions give students greater control over the rate at which they complete their program requirements.”
In addition to a regular 16-week semester, Nunez offers two intensive Fast Lane Mini-Mesters each fall and spring with financial aid available to qualified students for each term.
Fast Lane 1, which started the same day as Nunez’s regular Spring 2021 semester, is going on now. Starting Fast Lane 2 halfway into the regular semester creates another option for students who may have missed the start of the Spring semester.
More than 60 classes are available for Fast Lane 2, including many fully web-based courses, and more will be added in the coming weeks. All Fast Lane 2 classes, as well as the number of seats remaining in each class, can be viewed at Nunez.edu/schedule. A short video is posted at that URL to assist in navigating Nunez’s Dynamic Course Scheduler.
