Nunez Vaccination Drive Planned for August 23rd and 24th

Nunez will host a pair of on-campus Vaccine Drives next week as part of the State of Louisiana's Shot For 100 Initiative.

Vaccinations will be administered Monday, August 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the breezeway outside Building D and Tuesday, August 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in front of the AST Building.

The event will be staffed by medical professionals from the Methodist Health System Foundation, which operates the Nunez Health Center, with assistance from Nunez Practical Nursing students.

This event is open to all unvaccinated Nunez Community College students (Credit, Workforce, Adult Ed., Dual Enrolled) and Nunez students receiving their second dose. Students under 18 years of age must receive parental consent. Students should make every effort to present a copy of their health insurance card if available.

Participating students will receive a deactivated Visa gift card upon vaccination. After registering online at Shotfor100.com, the gift card will be loaded with $100.

Additional vaccination needs can be scheduled by appointment in the Nunez Health Center.

Participating students are asked to print, fill out, and bring the COVID Vaccine Health Center Consent Form and COVID-19 Vaccination Admin Record Consent forms included below. These forms must be completed before a vaccination can be administered.
