Registration for Nunez Community College’s all-online Winter Intersession and the Spring 2025 semester are open now at Nunez.edu. All Winter Intersession courses are online and will span Dec. 16-Jan. 13. The first day of Spring 2025 is Jan. 16.

Registration is open now at Nunez Community College for both the Winter Intersession and Spring 2025 terms.

Winter Intersession runs Dec. 16-Jan. 13 and is entirely online. Currently 19 courses are available including Intro to Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition and Diet Therapy (both prerequisites for the Practical Nursing program), and general courses such as College Algebra and Fundamentals of Effective Speaking.

“Winter Intersession is a fast, affordable option for students who need to catch up on certain credits. And not just current Nunez students. Most of the course credits will easily transfer to Louisiana universities,” said Dr. April Lavergne, Dean of Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success.

Students who require assistance applying for enrollment, registering for classes, or determining which credits transfer to which universities are encouraged to reach out to Nunez’s Student Success Team at Nunez.edu/Advising. Current and potential students are also invited to visit the Success Team in person in the Student Success Center, which is located across the lobby from the Nunez Library in the AST Building on the Nunez campus.

On the heels of Winter Intersession, Spring 2025 classes will begin Jan. 16. More than 300 courses are currently available for the spring semester, including online, on-campus and hybrid courses.

Non-credit courses including Intro to Ceramics and Intro to Digital Art are available at affordable prices through Nunez’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) division. For more information email STEAM Director Julie Rexford, Ed. D., at jrexford@nunez.edu.
