SoFAB Research Center Hosts Cookbook Sale and Family Cookbook Class

The Southern Food and Beverage Research Center in the Nunez Library will host a Vintage Cookbook Sale on Wednesday, March 12, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and a two-day Family Cookbook Class March 12 and March 13, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

The Southern Food and Beverage (SoFAB) Research Center in the Nunez Library invites the community to a Vintage Cookbook Sale and Family Cookbook Class March 12-13.

The Vintage Cookbook Sale is up first on Wednesday March 12 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. It will include many wonderful old cookbooks, as well as novels and books on gardening and other interests. The sale will take place in the lobby of the AST Building, where the Library is located, and will benefit the Nunez Library and the SoFAB Research Center.

Immediately following the Cookbook Sale, SoFAB Founder and Director Liz Williams will begin the first lesson of a two-day Family Cookbook Class. The class will take place March 12 and March 13 from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Nunez Library.

The Family Cookbook Class is free to attend thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Meraux Foundation.
