Student Government Association (SGA)
Mission Statement
The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to represent and serve all students attending Nunez Community College. The SGA is the voice through which students' opinions and concerns are expressed by acting as the students' representative before campus, local, state and national administrators.
The SGA ensures student participation in the college decision-making process, acknowledges and defends the rights of each student, and strives toward the advancement of the Nunez College community.
- Serve as a voice and advocate for students.
- Inform students of policy changes as well as campus and community activities
- Promote interaction and communication among the Nunez Community College Family
- Provide leadership that inspires student participation, contribution and service
- Create a fun environment that encourages student success and nurtures personal growth
