Custom Training

Workforce Development at Nunez works closely with industry to determine job opportunities available in the region and builds programs to train students specifically for those jobs. With the billions of dollars of industrial expansions in Southeast Louisiana, many industrial crafts are in high demand and Nunez is offering customized programs to help meet that demand. These programs are designed to quickly train and provide the skills necessary for these high-demand high-wage jobs or to meet specific needs of employers.

Through workforce training, Nunez plays a critical role in both the state and region’s economic development efforts. Workforce development programming provides a life-long learning partnership between education and industry with a goal to ensure our region’s long term vision for economic vitality.

We are currently seeking partners to help us design, develop, and deliver, need based programs. Partnerships can include custom training development, grant fulfillment, advisory committees, training and student mentoring initiatives, and equipment donations among other opportunities.
